Catholic Hmeichhe Pawl, Holy Trinity Branch was established on 9th September 1992. In the beginning they appointed the Office Bearers and all the women becomes a Committee members since they are few in number. As the time passes, they go on increasing in number and their way of functioning also improves as the guidelines of CHP demands.
FINANCE
Since its establishment Catholic Hmeichhe Pawl earn money for the welfare of their associations. They did lot of works in order to ear money. They sell things and collect contributions from their members too. Buhfaitham is the one thing which supports Catholic Hmeichhe Pawl. From the different sources that they get they are able to pay the budgets that are given to them.
FUNCTION:
From its existence catholic Hmeichhe Pawl tries to become an important instruments for the Church to grow and function properly. As a result they take turn to clean the Church. They sponsored an Altar cloth and decorated the Church with flowewrs every Sunday. They use to give certain amount of money to the Church from their earnings at the end of the year. They visit sick members of the Church and give gifts to the Priest and religious on their special occassions.
Catholic Hmeichhe Pawl, Holy Trinity Branch have a regular prayer service since its existence. In the beginning they use to have in the Church itself after Sunday service. Later on it was changed into Wednesday night and it still goes on. The prayer service is conducted in Church as well as in the House of the people as per the need and request. They use to conduct retreat programs and even give gifts to all who contribute Buhfaitham. This year they are working on to sponsor 10 benches for the Church.
OUTSIDE BRANCH
They not only close up themselves in their own Branch rather goes out to reach other Branch as well. They have received number of prizes from the competitions that they won in the Parish Conventions. They even help Homes, Seminary and other houses run by the Catholics. They give gift to priest and religious on their transfers. They hosted Parish Catholic Hmeichhe Pawl Convention two times and are getting ready to host for the third time.
COMMITTEE
Hmeichhe Pawl members are elected to be the Committee members at different levels. They always have representatives in the Executive Committee of Diocesan and Parish Catholic Hmeichhe Pawl level. They have been working for the growth of the Church and building God’s community here on earth.
